The exam

Wnen I read the exam question, I was happy because I have just listened to the presentation about "Should Animals have right?" last two days on AEP level 5 listening and speaking class.
I agree with the presenter. She told me about animals should have right because they have pain and emotion such as happy or sad like humans. I used to see the cow on the truck that will be sent to the factory that all cows will be killed to produce meat ball. They cried. I can see clear water from their eyes ,so It look very sad. I don't agree to threaten animals and don't accept using animals for working or show. Yesterday, when I watched the news on channal three, there were an elephant which be used for making money. They must walk on the hot street in big city that is not the place for living. I see sadness in its eyes , so Please stop doing this action.
Thank you.

Hi ka P'Pui,

I'm really glad that you like my presentation. Also, your post suggests that my presentation was successful. Actually, my presentation topic was "Should apes have rights?" However, its principle is similar to other animals’, which is based on Peter Singer's Animal Liberation. Thanks to Peter white, your teacher, who introduced this concept to me last term. (I specifically chose this topic because I didn't want to deal with MONKEYS !)

I've read "Of Mice and Men" long time ago. I think it's a very good idea to apply "equal consideration of interest" to your exam topic. (Though I heard that the topic asked about "in the story") However, having looked at the exam question at the first glance, I thought about animal euthanasia. Also, I think, in the story, Steinbeck wants to draw a parallel line between the dog and the dog’s owner who is very old (Is that right? I can’t remember exactly) that both of them are too old and useless. So when someone suggests that the dog is too old and it should be killed implies that the dog’s owner is in the same condition as the dog, and, according to the ranch’s way of life, there is no place for weakers like them.

Do you think so?

I thought of something similar to Am's comments, which also foreshadow an obvious question that we might want to consider next.
Is the right to life one of the animal rights you accept, and does that mean you believe it is wrong to kill animals for meat for human beings? Do you beleive that eating meat is wrong?
